Q: what got you interested in playing full contact football?
A: I had done flag football when I was younger, switched to soccer and switched back just because I missed it and soccer was a toxic environment for me.
Q: what challenges have you faced playing on a team made up mostly of boys and how have you overcome them?
A: People making fun or recalling me names, or just looking down on me because I’m a girl.
Q: What advice would you give to other girls who are playing or thinking about playing full contact football?
A: You really should try it because in my opinion its liberating to be able to slam into someone with no repercussions but also to widen you’re horizons because you never know what will happen if you don’t try it.
