Ruth Murphy – Maine Mayhem Football

Ruth Murphy

Ruth is a pioneer in women’s football who brought the full contact game to Maine over 20 years ago by forming the Maine Freeze. She went on to run the Maine Rebels through 2015 when the Maine Mayhem was founded.

Ruth now serves as the Director of Player Personnel for the Maine Mayhem and is President/Chairperson of the Maine Women’s Football Inc., the parent company of the Maine Mayhem. The Maine Women’s Football Inc. is a 501c3 Nonprofit.

She is responsible for player recruiting and retention and handles all aspects of player equipment and uniform needs.

SUPPORT RUTH!

The coaching and administrative staff of the Maine Mayhem are all volunteers. The team competes in the Women’s Football Alliance, a national women’s football league with over 60 teams around the country. The cost of running the team now exceeds $45,000 per year based on the fees for training facilities, game day field rentals, insurance, league fees, travel and many other. Please consider supporting our volunteer staff as they incur many personal expenses in running the team. The Maine Mayhem thank you for your support! The team and our players could not be successful without your help. You can receive your benefits at the gate of any of our home games or request that your person you are sponsoring send/deliver them to you.
