Playing full tackle football is a highly rewarding experience that comes with a certain level of expenses including the costs of preseason training facilities, equipment and game day field charges. As a result, all players must pay a player fee to allow the team to be able to play. The Maine Mayhem thank you for your support! The team and our players could not be successful without your help. You can receive your benefits at the gate of any of our home games or request that your player you are sponsoring send/deliver them to you.

A: The boys being bigger and stronger. I just keep getting lower and driving.

A: You need to get lower and use short choppy steps.

A: Work my hardest and give 110% every time!

Q: What advice would you give to other girls who are playing or thinking about playing full contact football?

A: Never give up! Dig deep!

A: WFA Boston Renegades and Patriots.

Q: what got you interested in playing full contact football?

A: I got interested in playing tackle football by just seeing people do it on tv and at school, but then I took a real interest and started playing flag, which I loved.

Q: what challenges have you faced playing on a team made up mostly of boys and how have you overcome them?

A: The challenges I’ve faced on a football team with all boys are mainly unfairness or just the pressure of being a girl on the team. When boys or people in general act as if I’m less then when I play football or talk about it, it used to affect me heavily, but now I realize that’s just life and playing football the best way I can, is always more important then judgmental people. The pressure of being a girl on a high school team is high, but when you love the sport, it doesn’t matter.

Q: What advice would you give to other girls who are playing or thinking about playing full contact football?

A: Just do it and do it your way. You’ll always come out on top when you are always playing 100%.
